2. LIFE INSIDE THE CAMPERVAN
We are one of the few companies in the world to have the privilege of owning all the 4 iconic Westfalia Vans of the 80s.
All our vans are equipped with 4 beds but, while Pablo, Andrea, Anna Maria, Nora and Giacomino are approved to carry 4 people, Tula 5, Emma and Giuseppe can carry up to 6 people. This is an almost exclusive Yep Campers privilege!
If your family or travel group consists of more than 4 people, then Tula, Emma and Giuseppe will be your choice. With them and with the addition of an external tent, that you can choose as an extra at check out, you can travel and sleep comfortably.
Other factors to consider when choosing your van depend on your needs and the time of the year. Regardless of the number of people, Tula, Anna Maria, Nora and Giacomino are perfect for those who want a small, agile and all-comforts van, while Pablo, Andrea, Emma and Giuseppe are bigger but they will make you feel like at home with the luxury of a bathroom and hot shower … inside the van!

Anna Maria, Nora and Giacomino can carry up to 4 people, while Emma and Giuseppe can carry up to 6 people. If you need booster seats for children, just ask at reservation, they are free for you.
Yes, small pets are welcome! Pets (maximum 2) must be accepted at the time of booking and must always be transported in a carrier. An additional fee of 60 euro per hire will be charged to cover additional cleaning.
This is probably the question that we like to respond to most, because driving an iconic Westfalia camper is a unique experience that will make your holiday unforgettable!
We will give you clear instruction and advice on driving technique and we can even take you for a quick lesson if you require.
Of course the drive of a Yep Camper is different from that of a modern car, but after just a few kilometres you will love your van, slow down, relax and breathe freedom!
All Yep Campervans work independently without being plugged in to mains electricity; each Van has a domestic 3 pin plug socket that you can use when you are plugged in to the campsite supply.
Once hooked up to the mains, at your campsite, you will be able to use mains devices such as hairdryers and laptop computers.
All Yep Campervans have an extremely versatile and efficient on board heating system that is fuelled by the diesel tank, without the need to be connected to mains electricity.
Emma and Giuseppe both have a water heating system, powered by the on board gas bottle which works without the need to be connected to mains electricity.
The van’s battery will recharge as you drive around.
Although free camping is forbidden in Sardinia, the small size of our vans will allow you to stop and sleep almost everywhere. At your arrival, we will explain to you some simple rules to let you live the dream almost anywhere on the island.
3. VAN PICK UP AND RETURN
Your trip starts at our headquarters in Albagiara, a very nice small town 40 minutes drive from Cagliari airport.
Many of our customers love to start or finish their vacation by visiting the many local natural and archaeological attractions such as, the Nuraghic site at Barumini or the wild La Giara plateau which is the land of the Giara horse, a small Sardinia native horse breed which is one of the few indigenous “breeds of limited distribution” recognised by the AIA (the Italian breeders’ association).
It is also possible to pick up the campervan in Cagliari (airport or city centre), free of charge for rentals of at least 10 days.
Van collection is from 14:00 to 22:00 while Van return must always be before 11:30 to allows us time to service and check the campervan ready for the next customers.
If you would like to return your van earlier than planned, just please let us know, but please bear in mind it will not mean a pro rata reduction in your hire charge.

The van must be returned with all the equipment in the same condition as it was received at the beginning of the rental, with the diesel tank full, the waste water tank empty and the chemical toilet emptied, cleaned and free of waste.
For a worry-free trip, we can arrange for you the transfer from any arrival place in Sardinia: just select at check out the transfer option, no need to pay in advance, you can easily pay the driver direct!

4. DRIVERS AND DRIVING LICENCES
You need a minimum two years old European driving license or an international license for holders of driving licenses issued by non-EU countries.
You must be at least 21 years old to drive our vans.
This depends on the insurance chosen at the time of booking: only one driver is included in the daily basic hire rate, but you can easily increase the number of drivers by extending the insurance options at check-out.
5. ACCIDENTS AND BREAKDOWNS
In the unlikely event of an accident, you must notify us immediately.
In the event of a breakdown, you should contact us immediately: we will quickly evaluate the best solution for you.
In the unfortunate event that the damage includes a prolonged shutdown, not caused by your misuse, we will offer you a replacement Van, if available, otherwise the remaining amount of the rental will be fully returned to you.
6. RESERVATION AND PAYMENTS
Included in the van hire is basic insurance, unlimited kilometers (inside Sardinia), cooking and eating equipment for 4 people, bathroom and night kit for 2 people, cleaning kit, child booster seats, mains hook up lead and water charging hose with adapter.
We accept payments by bank transfer, credit card and PayPal.
To confirm the reservation, an advanced payment of 200.00 euro is requested.
Final balance payment must be made within 31 days from the rental start date: a few weeks before, you will be sent a friendly reminder.
The payment of the extras and the deposit will be made at van collection: the deposit will be returned to you within 7 days from the end of the rental.
In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking made within 31 days from the start date of the rental, the 200.00 euro booking deposit is forfeited.
Cancellations made between the 30th and 16th days will incur a penalty of 50% of the total rental cost.
Cancellations made from the 15th day or later will incur the payment of the entire amount due at the time of booking.
No refund is due if the customer starts late or ends the rental in advance.
